Welcome to the Kern Regional Center Home Page on the Internet. KRC is proud to share information about who we are and what we do. In addition, from our web site you will be able to access other information related to developmental disabilities. We are one of California's 21 Regional Centers which coordinate community-based services to California's 225,000 citizens who have developmental disabilities. KRC serves about 6,300 people in Kern, Inyo and Mono Counties. Our counties cover approximately 22,000 square miles with a population of 811,000 people.
